Rescue of tiny Puppy with Deformities In His Legs Due to Malnutrition

This is little Felix. He arrived at a veterinary shelter in very bad condition. He has some bad mange going on, a belly full of intestinal worms, and the deformities in his legs are from malnutrition.

He was so tiny only weighing 1lb. He has not been properly taken care of in his short life. It is a result of an at-risk immune system having weakened ligaments and muscles. He needs time and good nursing care for his recovery.

With good nutrition, supplements, physical therapy, and the right medicine he should be a whole new puppy. Each day he gains strength. Felix did not require splints or leg braces.

They provided him with what his body would need to strengthen and let him do the work. He was dumped in a shelter because of his medical issues from his owner’s lack of proper care. But now he runs again and his bow-legged were better every day.

He weighs 3lbs at 12 weeks. He’s so tiny but he’s mighty and very mouthy. We’re so thankful and so grateful to all donations supporting his medical bills.
